There are several great areas to fish in Cold Lake if you don't have a boat. Cold Lake Marina Area, Kinosoo Beach Area, up by the water treatment Plant. If you have children the the Ardmore pond gets stocked with fish every year. Ice fishing shakes are popular in Cold Lake with people coming all over Alberta.

Kinosoo Beach offers an array of things to do. The new Splash Park and Zipline was put in 2016/2017 and is lots of fun for all ages. The Children's Playground and Volleyball nets will be added in 2018. The beach is cleaned daily by the city and has several activities throughout the year. Watersport Rentals and a concession booth are located right at the beach.

Cold Lake Marina is one of Alberta's finest Marinas. Fishing Guides and Boat Touring are available as well. The restaurant is located right on the marina so you can watch all the boats coming and going. Cold Lake Sailing Clubs and the fireworks are another thing you'll see here.

Every winter down at the Marina the snow is cleared at it becomes a skating rink. Snow trail are all over the lake for skiing and snowmobiling 

Scuba Diving lessons by Action Diving Pro in Cold Lake teaches classes to the public. There is also a scuba diving club. Call for more details.

Located in Cold Lake North is one of the nicest campgrounds in Alberta...But all locals love the private beach and beach volleyball area open to the public. Open fields are great for sports and remote control vehicles. Great lookout overlooking Cold Lake. A Group BBQ Area is popular for locals as well.

Cold Lake Provincial Park has incredible walking, hiking & biking trails. The trails views are wrapped around Cold Lake with lots of hilly terrain. Look out points are throughout the trails... Great Beach and playground for the kids, with day use fire pits.
